MARKETING AND PR INTERNSHIP

We have an opening for a part-time Marketing and PR Intern at our West location.

The internship is available immediately at approximately ten hours per week. Requires excellent writing skills, time management, and attention to detail. Graphic design experience a plus. Interns will learn about and assist with social media management, public relations, general marketing, flyers, brochures, logo design and more. Educational opportunities will also entail working closely with the diverse programs of our 40,000 sq. ft. youth sports center.

Minimum one-year commitment requested. Available for course credit.

GYMNASTICS, CHEER, TRAMPOLINE & TUMBLING COACHES

We are hiring experienced coaches for all programs: boys & girls, recreational and team, gymnastics, cheer, trampoline and tumbling.

Management, full-time and part-time positions available.

All positions require a great deal of enthusiasm and energy for spotting the necessary events, a love for working with children, and excellent communication and teaching skills.

FRONT DESK/CUSTOMER SERVICE

We have an opening for an enthusiastic and multi-talented individual to assist part-time with the front desk and customer service at either of our locations.

Must be upbeat, outgoing, friendly, able to multi-task, and comfortable working alone in a high-energy environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, knowing and explaining all Sun Country programs to customers, enrolling students in classes, handling or referring customer concerns, using multiple software programs and answering phones. Experience working with children preferred.

Applicants must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher) and very comfortable using multiple software programs and computers in general. The position requires a friendly, easygoing personality and the ability to provide excellent customer service for many different personalities.

There will be extensive training to learn all of our programs and systems, however, as the position requires excellent understanding of a large amount of detailed information, we ask for a commitment of at least one year (shifts are afternoons/evenings/occasional weekends). Shifts may go as late as 9 pm several nights per week and include one weekend out of every 5-6 weeks. Front desk positions are approximately 15-20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours in other departments. May require occasional driving to assist with afterschool student pick-up.

SWIM INSTRUCTORS

We have immediate openings for experienced swim instructors who love working with children. Position requires current lifeguard certification and experience providing swim instruction to ages 6 months and up. Must be friendly, enthusiastic, well-organized, reliable, and self-motivated -- and must love working with children. Requires the ability to provide excellent customer service for many different personalities. Swim Instructors work approximately 5-10 hrs/wk during the school year and 15 -25 hrs/wk in summer, with the possibility of additional hours in other departments.
