Available for children 5 years old and younger. One admission includes Circle Time, free play in the Gymnastics Rooms, KidQuest, Bounce Room, Snacks and plenty of Fun! Check Tuesday and Friday availability for specifics on each day. An adult must accompany children. Adults play for FREE!

FunFest Summer Camp

Sun Country Sports Center is now taking registrations for 2013 FunFest Summer Camp! Campers will participate in a variety of sports and fitness related activities that will encourage both physical and mental growth. Physical activity helps in the development of a healthy body and a strong character. Our trained and certified counselors will safely lead campers in activities with creativity, positivity and enthusiasm. For the 11 weeks of summer, FunFest campers will experience many of the programs offered at Sun Country including: Gymnastics, Trampoline, Obstacle Courses, Rock Climbing, Swimming, Fencing, KidQuest, Bounce Houses, Arts & Crafts, Theater Art, Cheerleading, Dance, and Martial Arts. Optional field trips and special guests are available as well! Campers can come on a full or part time basis. SPECIALTY CAMPS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE every week of the summer for campers wanting to excel in just one area. Camp is offered Monday – Friday from 7:30am-6:30pm for children 3 and up (Campers must be potty trained). Transportation to and from our Millhopper facility is available. Early Bird and sibling discounts are available. |

DANCE SUN COUNTRY PRESENTS "SWIRLS OF SWEETS & TWIRLING TREATS"

This year’s program features approximately 35 dances, and includes performances by the many students that participated in the 2012-2013 season at Dance Sun Country. All classes, from the Dance Tots (3 year olds) through the advanced level dancers will be performing. Many dance styles will be featured, including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip-hop, modern, musical theatre, lyrical, and contemporary dance. Dance themes will include everything from “Cotton Candy”, “Lollipops”, and “Visions of Sugar Plums”, to “Sour Patch Kids”, “Rockin’ Razzles”, and “Atomic Fie Balls”. This year, three of our “Boys Only!” classes will be featured, with dance themes that include “Big League Chew”, “Russian Chocolates” (in the style of Russian Cossack dancers), and “Candy Rapperz” (our Hip-Hop Boyz class). Sun Country Dance Theatre (SCDT), the resident non-profit performing company of DANCE Sun Country, will also perform on the program.
Tickets ($9.50 each) are available at Sun Country Sports West. Tickets are also available ($8.50 each) at the Phillips Center Box Office, the UF Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, and at the door on the day of the show. Seating is general admission. Little Lunchers

Lunch dates aren't just for adults anymore! Little Lunchers is a lunchtime program for children ages 3 to 6 with a Sun Country spin. Parents pack a lunch and drop their child off for two hours of fun, fitness and a picnic lunch. Your "Little Luncher" will learn basic gymnastics skills, play parachute games, jump in the bounce houses, do arts and crafts, have story time and much more! |

FAMILY FUN NIGHT

Giving back at Sun Country!

At Sun Country, we are fortunate to have the opportunity to watch talented young men and women grow and excel in everything from gymnastics meets to rock climbing events. This, of course, makes being involved with Sun Country very satisfying. But, we also have the opportunity to help make a difference in the community. Our involvement with the March of Dimes is one that we are very proud of and committed to. We all laugh at them with the thought “yeah that’s true,” when reading about how as parents we get no sleep, the kids are picky, they won’t eat vegetables or, my favorite, the “Having one child makes you a parent. Having two makes you a referee.” But sometimes as parents, we take these moments for granted. Those moments when you find little Johnny writing on the walls and get so upset, you’ll find you miss when he leaves for college.
